Clayton and Shelly McMasters, 490 Testimony

All we had to do is get out of God’s way and let Him do the rest!

When the Lord called us back to our home church at Eudora we knew that meant a new ministry would be a part of that. Well being gone from Eudora for eight years we had the privilege of being a part of two amazing ministries for hurting people and those in addiction. As much as we love each of them, neither one was a good fit for our community or church, or at least for now. We were dealing with our own battle of forgiveness and that’s where the name for 490 started. How many times do I forgive? 70×7 Matthew 18:22. Little by little in the Lord gave the vision for this new ministry and because of that, we believe it has been very effective in helping hurting people in and around our church. It actually didn’t look exactly like we thought it would, but it looks exactly like he knew it should be. We are thankful to be just a small part of this new ministry and watch the Lord heal numerous people one by one and can’t wait to see what He will do in the future!

All are welcome, young to mature and we will help one another through love, support and scripture to deal with tough stuff life throws at us in our daily walk.
